About this speaker

Heather is a leading authority in Values Based Leadership and is a respected voice in the international arena of consulting, business and corporate innovation and coaching. Having worked with such iconic brands as Macquarie Group, Mars, Origin, Nestle, Vincent’s Accounting, Westpac, East West Consortium (Malaysia), as well as New Zealand’s largest NGO, major departments of the New Zealand Government and over 100,000 individuals worldwide, Heather specialises in growing people.

With formal training in arts, psychology, family and systems theory and business, Heather has been a 'people' specialist for over 30 years. Her ability to get to the heart of what drives and inspires people, what limits them and prevents them from realising their fullest potential, has been the foundation of her work in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, the USA, Singapore, Indonesia and Myanmar.

Heather is a renowned figure in the change leadership, business engagement and leadership development fields, bringing a new architecture to the structure of how we do this work and the impact it has on both individual satisfaction and business growth. Despite the hustle and bustle of daily life, Heather believes that all anybody really wants is to love and be loved, and to be known, loved, seen and “got” for who they truly are. This is fundamentally what drives all aspects of her work and company. Heather holds that discovering and expressing the truth of who we are and embracing the difference we were born to make is at the core of us being loved and making a meaningful difference in the world. Heather knows that all too often the activities of life can distract us from the essential task of personal reflection and growth, yet this is where true success is borne; the home of personal leadership.

Heather has enormous respect for the importance of structure and clear process and blends this elegantly with a capacity to work with the fluid dynamic of each unique group, regardless of age or context. She is humorous, energetic, powerful, inspirational, challenging, insightful, intuitive, and concise. She also has that unique ability to engage with individuals in the context of a large group, as well as addressing the needs of the group as a whole.

She is a Content Specialist for The Growth Project, a not-for-profit initiative offering an innovative leadership development program that brings together charity and business leaders in an environment of shared learning, to strengthen the skills of both groups and better assist those they serve.

She is also the Founder and Director of the highly acclaimed Green SuperCamp™ Australia programme, offering personal leadership, academic acceleration and environmental awareness to children aged 10 to 18 years. This work also takes Heather to Myanmar, where she provides training for students and teachers at the Brainworks International School.

Heather is a long-standing member of the Victorian Association of Family Therapists and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

As step mother to 8 children, Heather also knows what it means to be in the trenches, juggling multiple demands and dealing with the reality of family, business and community commitments. Perhaps because of this, she has built an innovative company and attracted an extraordinary team of people who are equally committed to her legacy of providing services that help develop children who believe in themselves, engaged and inspiring adults, and thriving and innovative businesses.
