About this speaker

Janine Lee is the Director of Domestic Violence Business Solutions, a business for good helping corporate leaders and private individuals reduce domestic violence abuse in the workplace and at home.

Janine has had an impressive 23-year career in the New Zealand Police as a Detective and Senior Manager, saving lives and solving complex crimes, assisting over 11,000 families with safety solutions.

She understands conversations about domestic violence are difficult. Yet, the problem remains clear – many individuals within organisations lack the necessary knowledge and skills to implement safer, more supportive domestic violence systems at work and home so that people can be safer and feel safer, everywhere to live their best lives.

Janine is now on a mission to share her knowledge and innovative solutions based on her 25 years of successful ‘on the ground’ experience.

Janine’s Easier-C™ framework builds capability across organisations by applying a complete continuum of domestic and family violence responses to solve hidden people problems, mitigate risk and increase personal and corporate reputational brands.

The framework applies Janine’s unique DvSAFER™, DvWORK™ and DvDETECT™ accelerator programs, so that people globally have the right tools to know what to see, think and do, to reduce violence and abuse.

Janine currently serves as an Expert Advisory Committee Member for the Australian Institute for Strangulation Prevention. She is a Co-Founder of the Australian DV Safe Phone project and a lifetime member of B1G1.
